How did the two of you meet?
While he was attending school at Michigan Tech, we both were members at CrossFit Hakkapeliitta. We didn't really talk at all at the gym, and he actually tried adding me on facebook before he left back home for the summer. I didn't even realize he tried adding me until the end of summer, and rumor has it that he was pretty bummed. Anyway, he messaged me on Facebook and basically asked me on a workout date, I still remember that workout! I drove him home only later to have him ask me over for dinner. Then somehow he convinced me to stay and watch Nascar. After a few times hanging out together, I told him I just wanted to be friends and look where that got us! haha He was very persistent!
Tell me how you got engaged! Who proposed to who, how did it happen?!
Cole proposed! There is a really cool store that is like a year-round farmers market which we love to shop at! It was end of November and I convinced him we needed a Christmas tree already. We went to Horrocks Market to buy one, and while we were loading it up in my car, he made me do all of the work! He just disappeared, typical. But then I turned around and I he was down on one knee.
