Best Engagement Photo Locations in Copper Harbor Michigan

A question I get often is, “What are some locations you recommend for our session?”
So I’ve decided to compile my top 3 engagement photo locations in Copper Harbor, MI while also showing off my friends, Ian & Bekah’s engagement photo session! I hope this is helpful for anyone planning to get photos in the gorgeous and breathtaking Keweenaw Peninsula!

Hunter’s Point Park

A popular destination in the Keweenaw, a rocky and unique location snuggled on Lake Superior. Hunter’s Point Park is the perfect location because it is easily accessible and there are multiple trails to adventure on. In the case where it’s a busy day at the park, I promise you will be able to find a more secluded spot for your photo session. A mix of wooded trails, rocky beaches, and the breathtaking Lake Superior makes this my number 1 spot!

Brockway Mountain

Do you dream of having photos in a place that takes your breath away? Brockway Mountain is the spot for you! Bonus - the 9 1/2 mile drive from Copper Harbor will take you all the way to the top, so no need for hiking to take in the epic views. Along with the top of the mountain being a perfect location for your photos, there are multiple pull off spots along the drive up that can give you a variety of different beautiful backdrops - including overlooking the cute town of Copper Harbor.

Trails Between Central and Copper Harbor

There are some uniquely beautiful pull-off spots on US Highway 41 located between the town of Central and Copper Harbor! These location needs to be proceeded with caution since it is an actual highway with twists and turns. Tourists and locals alike tend to speed through some sections of the road so please be careful! The best time of year to come to this location is in the fall season - as you can see the lovely autumn foliage is so beautiful!
